What GSM can you manufacture?
Common finished PE tarpaulin constructions are approximately 60–300 GSM. The suitable range and tolerance depend on weave, lamination, reinforcement and use, so the final specification is confirmed before quotation.
Can size, color, UV treatment and printing be customized?
Yes. Finished size or roll dimensions, color, UV stabilization, agreed FR requirements, printing, eyelets, reinforcement and export packing can be specified for the order.
What should a buyer send for quotation?
Send the application, destination, finished size or roll width and length, target GSM, color, quantity, UV or FR requirement, printing, packing and destination port. A current sample or photos are helpful for matching.
Is a 4 mil PE tarp the same as a specific GSM?
No. Mil describes nominal thickness, while GSM describes finished weight per square metre. We use the existing tarp's finished dimensions, total weight, weave, coating, hems and eyelets together when developing a comparable construction.
What is the difference between cut size and finished size?
Cut size is the material dimension before hems and seams are completed. Finished size is the measured tarp after fabrication. Buyers should state which convention applies and agree the permitted tolerance before production.
How can importers reduce grommet and corner failures?
Match eyelet spacing and material to the expected tie-down load, then reinforce the perimeter and corners. A heavier GSM alone does not prevent failure when load is concentrated at weak fixing points.
