Solid sheeting forms a weather barrier
Laminated PE sheeting is chosen where rain, dust migration or enclosed working conditions are the priority. Because it blocks airflow, wind loading and the fixing system require careful review.
Reinforced Leno can combine light and waterproofing
A visible reinforcement grid enclosed by PE film can provide waterproof protection while allowing useful light transmission, subject to the selected construction.
Open mesh allows airflow
Debris or scaffold mesh is porous. It can provide screening, shade and partial containment while reducing wind pressure compared with a solid barrier, but it is not a waterproof rain cover.
FR wording must name the requirement
Fire-retardant is not one universal specification. Buyers should state the destination standard, end use and document required for the exact material being ordered.

Yes. Roll size, reinforced zones and fixing layout can be developed around scaffold bays and installation practice.
Does an FR report apply to every scaffold material?
