PE leno tarpaulin, is one kind of PE tarpaulin. Just the normal PE tarpaulin is of mesh from 6x6 to 18x18, whereas PE leno tarpaulin is only 3x3. And leno tarp is mostly of transparent colors, such as transparent, transparent white, transparent green, etc.
PE leno tarpaulin is sometimes called scaffolding tarpaulin because it is widely and mainly used as a scaffolding cover. But actually, it can be not only as a scaffolding cover but also can be used for all outdoor covering, just like normal PE tarpaulins. On the other hand, normal PE tarpaulins can also be used as scaffolding covers, if you like.
Another difference between PE leno tarpaulin and scaffolding tarpaulin is that PE leno tarpaulins can be roll goods or ready-made sheets with reinforced edges and corners(like all normal poly tarp); whereas scaffolding tarpaulins are usually roll goods, and can be reinforced with eyelets bands.
